Club Receives Leadership Awards

The Club was honored with several awards at the 2010 Club Leadership Conference held in Auburn on February 5 & 6! The Club was recognized for its leadership in bringing the SC Auburn tag effort to a successful conclusion in being awarded the Never to Yield Award! The Never to Yield award is given to the most tenacious club.

The Club was also recognized for raising its scholarship contributions from the previous year by more than 50%! Finally, the Club was honored in being granted True & Blue Tiger Status for the fourth consecutive year! The ACE program recognizes Auburn Club programs for their performance in 8 categories including service to the community, leadership, membership, service to students and activities. True & Blue Tiger status is the second-highest status achievable. Read more about the ACE award.

First South Carolina License to Learn Scholarship Awarded

The Club is proud to announce that the very first recipient of the South Carolina License to Learn Scholarship has been selected! It has been only a few short months since the tags hit the street in April 2009, but the tag revenue is already working hard making a difference in Auburn students' lives! The very first recipient is a new freshman studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at Auburn. The scholarship will award the student $1,500 to help cover the costs of an Auburn education. This award is only the first of what we hope to be many awards in the future. As of October 2009, the total amount of money received from the tag sales has eclipsed $13,000!
