RE: Auburn Alumni Association – Mobile Auburn Club Membership Unity

Dear Alum or Friend of Auburn University:

The Mobile Auburn Club is transitioning to the Auburn Alumni Association's "Membership Unity" program. All local Auburn clubs will become part of this program by 2011. Under this program, there will be no more local club membership dues; all members of the Auburn Alumni Association will automatically be members of their local Auburn club. For more information on how to join the Auburn Alumni Association, please visit www.aualum.org and click "JOIN" at the top of the page. Whether you join the Auburn Alumni Association online or by mail, please select the code "MUMOB" to make sure you are automatically a member of the Mobile Auburn Club. A small portion of these annual dues will go into the Mobile Auburn Club scholarship fund.

If you choose not to join the Auburn Alumni Association, we still look forward to seeing you at upcoming Mobile Auburn Club events, and still need your support. Please consider making a small donation to our scholarship fund by printing and mailing the form below.

The Membership Unity program has been debated for several years, and the transition will not be without some growing pains. However, I believe it will be a very good program for the Alumni Association and for the local clubs. And with continued support from friends of Auburn such as you, the Mobile Auburn Club will continue to provide scholarship opportunities for Mobile County high school seniors.
